Valkyrie Holmes is passionate about using new and innovative tech to change the way people view the world and tackle important issues. She is currently working as a Falcon intern at SpaceX for avionics engineering. She also works as a data analyst @ Inflo and creates content on her Medium and Youtube channel (little bird diaries). She recently became a 776 fellow and will be postponing her first year at Vanderbilt to work on Project Firefly fulltime.
Jesse Pound is dedicated to using emerging technology to work towards solving climate change. She is currently spending the summer in Istanbul, Turkey working as a mechanical engineering intern for Gen Drones with support from the Cansbridge Fellowship. She also co-founded and is currently growing another startup, Vunatec, which aims to use drones and machine learning to reduce post-harvest food loss of mangoes in Kenya. She just finished her second year of mechanical engineering at Queen's University but will be taking a gap semester to focus on her startups in the fall of 2022.
